Born extremely prematurely

She spends the first months of her life at the hospital in Salzburg, where she is taken care of by a team of neonatal professionals. The small, fragile child has to overcome numerous life-threatening situations during this period.

Difficult Start to Life
Christiane Perner-Krings describes in her book the great challenges and changes which confronted her and her family due to the premature birth of her daughter. From the perspective of a caring mother, she tells of Theresa's development from infancy until she began school. It is the story of a small miracle.

Three Good Intentions
The first-time book author from Untertauern has three good intentions with regards to "Eine kleine Hand voll Leben": "Above all, I have dedicated this book to our daughter, so that she will be better able to understand her tough start to life when she is older. Simultaneously, it represents a big thank-you to all those who supported Theresa along the way. And with 'Eine kleine Hand voll Leben' I wish to give hope and courage to all those people who find themselves in the same situation as us."
